Once aboard, we will sail north, passing by the volcanic cliffs of Cerro Negro. We will enter the “El Chocho de la Vieja” cave a bit, where we can observe the different types of volcanic rock.
In our boat ride, we continue towards Cala Hernández, a small inaccessible cove of volcanic boulders and turquoise water. Beyond Cala Hernández, we will see the coast change to a whiter color due to the limestone sediments from ancient reefs. We will sail until we reach San Pedro cove, an old village, where we can admire its 15th-century castle.
We will continue our boat ride to the islet of San Pedro. It is an ancient volcanic crater inhabited by seagulls and cormorants. From here, we will set course south towards El Playazo, to enjoy the limestone rock formations that lead us to the Cueva de las Palomas, a stunning cave, an ancient pirate refuge and used for smuggling in the past, and to the castle of San Ramón.

Since it is a boating activity, we recommend that if you get seasick or are not familiar with it, consult your pharmacist about taking biodramine. Make sure to enjoy the activity without fear of getting seasick.
The journeys are very short, in which it is very unlikely that you will get seasick, but if you think you are prone to it, we advise you to take a biodramine 30 minutes before embarking.
We do not recommend it, as the boat makes small jumps in the water.
