Portitxol Island is a small islet about 300 meters in diameter located opposite the Portitxol cove, also known as Cala Barraca in Jávea. It is an island that was inhabited in ancient times during the Roman era and was used as a port area. Currently, Portitxol Island can only be visited by kayak, as in just 10 minutes on one, we can reach this impressive island.

The kayak tour to Portitxol Island involves setting out by kayak from Cala Portitxol itself. We take the kayak and head south to Cala el Pom and Cap Negre. These two spots make the bay of El Portitxol even more beautiful. After exploring this coastal area, we take the kayak again and head towards the island.
