Introduction to Climbing in Alicante

  • Climbing Location: Morro de Toix in Altea (Alicante)

What does the Beginners Climbing Course in Alicante involve?

In this climbing course in Alicante, we will help you understand climbing from the inside, acquire knowledge and skills that allow you to safely climb equipped routes, deeply understand climbing equipment, technical characteristics, uses, and care, master a varied repertoire of basic maneuvers and technical resources in climbing, and promote the consideration of the natural environment as a sports and recreational space, facilitating the enjoyment of all participants in the activity.

The Morro de Toix in Altea (Alicante) and its climbing area is recognized by enthusiasts of the sport for its challenging height and incredible views towards the sea, a challenge made for people who want to start climbing and rappelling. With this course, you will be able to climb about 12 beginner routes from 4th to 5th grade, 20 to 30 meters in length, generally considered easy.

The Morro Toix reaches up to 338 meters in altitude, it is a large summit of limestone rock, marking the end of the Serra de Bérnia towards the sea.
