Enjoy a Via Ferrata in Villena, Tous, Albir, Redován, Callosa de Segura and Canelobre

Via Ferrata is the perfect activity for climbing enthusiasts of all levels. You may have never done it before, so we have via ferrata for beginners, intermediate level via ferrata, and high-level via ferrata for experienced individuals. It is undoubtedly one of the best activities to enjoy the mountains and adventure equally. Are you ready to fully enjoy this adventure?
This route is located in the Sierra de la Villa, perfect for doing with children, an activity suitable for all audiences.
It consists of two sections, one more horizontal and the other with vertical steps. To reach the Villena via ferrata, we have a 15-minute approach up the mountain. At the end, we have two options: a rappel of about 25 meters or descending from the other side of the summit. From this route, we can enjoy views of the Vinalopó Valley, as well as the ruins of the Salvatierra Castle.
This route is double, as we will do the Chorrico via ferrata and the Castellet ravine.
We will enter the Tous Reservoir where you can have a unique experience with a beginner K1 vertical Tous via ferrata and a ravine with 4 rappels, one of them being 28 meters. Before arriving, we have about a 40-minute walk to the shores of the Tous reservoir with incredible views, an easy path that is not very steep. Upon reaching the foot of the via ferrata, we find a 55-meter wall that we will have to climb to start the canyoning.
This route, built in an old quarry, will allow us to have wonderful views towards Puig Campana, it is perfect for family outings and suitable for beginners.
It has vertical steps and a short distance between staples. We will walk for only 2 minutes from the car to start the Albir via ferrata. Upon reaching the top, we can enjoy magnificent views of Puig Campana. To descend, we have two options, either down the trail or by a 30-meter rappel.
This route, known for its location in the Canelobre Caves, situated in Busot (Alicante), is a beginner K1 ferrata not suitable for children.
In this Canelobre via ferrata, we will find an easy route but with the safety cable a bit far from the staples, so it is not suitable for the little ones. The ferrata is short, about 35 meters of vertical travel, and offers spectacular views from the summit. For descending, we have a 30-meter rappel.
This route located in Redován is perfect for family outings and for those who want to start in this activity at K2 level.
We will enjoy a 280-meter long route with various bridges similar to those in an adventure park. At the end of the Redován via ferrata, we will have a slightly overhanging step that will be the most physical part of the activity, but suitable for all audiences. To return to the car, we have about a 25-minute descent on a well-marked path.
This route called Fuente de la Godalla with a K3 level is perfect for those who have some experience, recommended for ages 15 and up.
We will walk for approximately 15 minutes to start the Enguera via ferrata. The ferrata has vertical and horizontal steps with an overhang, a rappel, and two Tibetan bridges, one of which is the second largest in Spain.
Possibility of doing a 70-meter zip line.
After overcoming the first vertical section, we will have views of the town of Enguera from the mountains. The most technical passage of the ferrata is horizontal with an overhang that will test our strength, as it is very short but explosive yet manageable if you are somewhat fit. The rest of the ferrata is easier and vertical.
This route with a medium K3 level, will require us to be minimally fit to overcome it, as although it is an easy ferrata, it has a technical horizontal overhang step.
The Callosa via ferrata consists of vertical and horizontal steps with staples and 4 bridges that will not leave you indifferent.
It is a very fun and complete activity due to the morphology of the route and its views are spectacular. We will walk about 15 minutes from the car along an easy and marked path.
