What's Included?

Guided Kayak Tour in the Cliffs of Maro - Nerja

Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes – Includes the Cliffs of Maro, Maro Waterfall, and the Sea Lion Cave (visit subject to sea conditions)

High season schedule: Departures every 30 minutes from 09:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., except at 1:30 p.m.

Low season schedule: Departures at 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. every day

Conditions

  • It is essential to arrive 45-30 minutes before the start of the activity
  • The price indicated is per person. (The child price is for ages 7 to 15)
  • Children from 4 to 6 years old are free (If under 30kg, they can go between two adults in the same kayak)
  • It is essential to book in advance on the website. Once payment is made, you will receive by email a purchase receipt with the reservation phone number to specify the day of the tour.
  • It is essential to know how to swim
  • The waterfall currently no longer carries water
  • * IMPORTANT:
  • You must be there 15 minutes before the activity starts with the instructors. Plan at least 1 hour to park and get down to the beach with enough time.
  • Dogs are not allowed at the activity as they are not permitted on the beaches of Nerja.
  • If the cancellation of the activity is due to bad weather or lack of availability at the center, a change or refund will be processed.
  • * To complete a group tour, a minimum of 8 people is required; if this minimum is not met, your reservation will change to Rental without a guide, or if possible, you may join another group later that same day.

What is the Kayak Route along the Maro Nerja cliffs about?

We will start this spectacular route at Maro Beach, where we will get into the kayaks and head towards the Maro-Cerro Gordo cliffs, where we can enjoy a unique setting on the Costa del Sol.

We will visit the Maro cliffs, the Maro ravine, the Maro cove, and the Maro Waterfall. We will also add to our route a visit to the Sea Lion Cave (if the weather and/or sea conditions allow), also known as the Snorers' Cave.

We will enjoy one of the best-kept secrets of the Natural Site of the Maro-Cerro Gordo Cliffs, the Maro Waterfall, which originates from the Sanguino Stream and cascades 15 meters high through the Nerja Caves into the sea. We will paddle through passages formed by the narrow cliffs and enjoy privileged views of the Maro Waterfall or Maro Chorrera.

Our guide will explain interesting things we will see during the tour, which few know throughout the entire kayak route along the Maro Nerja Cerro Gordo cliffs. We will also stop for a swim, to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the area, where we can take a dip and explore the seabed with snorkeling masks provided by the instructor.

Hola, somos 4 adultos y un niños de 11 los Kayak son de dos o puede ser de tres, el es alto. Sería para finales de agosto.gracias

Súper recomendable

Íbamos con la idea de hacer otro tipo de actividad, pero al final nos decidimos por la ruta en Kayak y no nos arrepentimos nada, ha sido muy chulo y bonito, trato genial, Timy muy agradable , y atento con nosotros

Nos gusto mucho

Muy recomendable está excursión. Salimos desde la Playa de Maro, y fue espectacular las vistas. Los monitores que nos guiaban muy amables y atentos en todo momento a nosotros.

Kayak guiado

Espectacular y eso que el levante no puso de su parte,gran monitor Timmy,preocupado por todo el grupo y muy atento a los peques,sin duda para repetir y recomendar.

Una pasada!

Me habían hablado de la los acantilados e iba un poco reacia, pero la verdad es que espectacular la zona. La excursión muy bien, aunque fuimos en Agosto y mucha gente.
